MARY STREET GYMPIE........

IN A NUTSHELL, GYMPIE IS AN OLD HIPPIE TOWN.

in the day it was full of beautiful people with a HUGE community orientation. It still is, however, there is a broader selection of people types and tiger stripes.

Me personally, I love the feeling the energy the warmth of purely being in Mary street. Naturally it's the shops and places I visit in the street that feed me this energy. I try to avoid the bigger chain type shops and shopping centres. Walking into a shopping centre gives me instant unease. The vibration is just rush rush, get out of my way I don't care if you're limping, I've got money and I'm going to buy happiness for a day. This type of environment effects me in such a bad way and commonly knocks me for a day or three.

For the south Australians reading this, it's very much like semaphore Main Street. Music, good healthy food, friendly smiling people and just that at ease feeling it gives.

On Wednesday the 23rd, I saw a reiki specialist. Besides the fact that the therapy is and was amazing, the lady was the perfect person to do this FOR ME.   She was whole in nature, pure and of course an absolute empath. I almost felt bad for her treating me as she had a big job of not taking home my energy.  Her hands were like how you would imagine a cloud to feel.  At the end of the treatment, I couldn't resist but take one of her hands in mine to feel that gentle power.

Mary street has given me back faith that there are still real people. Sorry Mary street, I've put a lot of expectations on you.
Now there is the odd ball that is totally oblivious to the energy, but luckily it's the minority and easy to brush off.
One particular day, we had a couple of small things to do in Mary street.  It took us two hours to get from one end to the other. Not from stopping to shop but stopping and talking to absolute strangers that felt like you knew forever. For example, we would just happen to stop out the front of a bizarre shop and people would gather with you to share their interest in the certain piece. Within ten minutes you realise your talking with them as if you have known them forever.  This generally happens all the way up the street.  Some people when walking past just seem to make eye contact and we then share smiles and a nod of appreciation and acceptance.  It just oozes this this, what can I call it......

BEAUTY.
